Aidan has been studying the Victorian Era and this school trip brings him back in time to allow him to experience what it was like living in the past. The children / parents are asked to dressed in Victorian outfits and Aidan is dressed as a Chinese tea merchant in the early 1900s.
lunch: Chinese steamed bun, lucky clementines, tea and Chinese sweets
They talked about what was expected of ladies and men
children had jobs including:
emptying bed pans / chamber pots
brushing off bed bugs
making beds
beating rugs
doing laundry
and back to the future
