we went to Delamere Forest to learn some wilderness survival skills
shelter
1. structure with long branches
2.line the sides with branches of different length
4. wedge stems of plants in to the structure for additional isolation against wind or rain
finished!
fire
1. prepare tinder (flammable material, eg, cotton wool)
2. practice with a fire stick
roasting marshmallows
1.shave the tip of a branch into a sharp point
2. wait for the fire to build up
3. roast the marshmallow over fire, rotate as necessary
4. wait for it to cool down
5. one bite
it was a beautiful day at a gorgeous park with great friends
