Aidan & Kalen - May 26, 2010 - Afternoon Tea Part 2

We went to another afternoon tea today, but this time it was at the Midland Hotel

Yummy scones, sandwiches and desserts!

Of course, just like last time, Kalen was fast asleep...

...which just meant more sweets for me!

Grandma even wore the pretty green earrings I bought for her!

I love afternoon tea here in England!!

Aidan & Kalen - May 24, 2010 - Afternoon in Altrincham

We spent the afternoon at Stamford Park in Altrincham

Kalen: "I can't believe my big brother is riding a giant frog! So funny! HAHA!"

Kalen: "I can't believe my big brother is so scared of heights! That is also funny!! HAHA!"

Aidan & Kalen - May 23, 2010 - Picnic in St. John's Gardens

What a BEAUTIFUL day in Manchester today to have a picnic outside!

We went to St. John's Gardens which is just around the corner from our house.

We had a LOT of yummy food!

Too bad Kalen doesn't have teeth yet. Oh well, more food for me!!

There were SOOO many other people at the park having a picnic as well!

I played soccer with dad, mom....

...and Grandma.

Kalen: "No pictures please! I just woke up!"

Aidan - May 22, 2010 - Last Day in London Town with Grandma

Today was our last day in London so we decided to just take it easy.

We first went to Kensington Gardens/Palace area to walk around...

...then took a stroll around the Notting Hill area...

...then had some silly fun at Harrod's...

...and finally had a great dinner at St. Pancras Station before heading back home to Manchester.

It was a great trip and I hope Grandma liked it too!!

Aidan - May 21, 2010 - Day 2 in London Town with Grandma

On the second day, we took Grandma to the Science Museum!

We got to see a Bubble Show and I was picked to help with the grand finale!!

We then took the Tube to Green Park where we saw a lot of painted elephants...

This one was called Mr. William

We then went to Buckingham Palace...

...then to Trafalgar Square where I visited an old friend of mine.

One of London's world famous telephone booths

We then went to The City...

...and walked the Millennium Bridge...

...and saw St. Paul's Cathedral.

It was an action packed second day!!
